I feel pretty bad about the news, as obviously Sam is great for the show, but I suppose he has his reasons not to play in this very juicy new season of the best cash game poker available on the internet.

Players we will be seeing include Tom Dwan, Patrik Antonius, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Gus Hansen, David Benyamine, Doyle Brunson, Phil Hellmuth Jr., Eli Elezra and Mike Matusow…

Not only did he play a relatively conservative game against a much more aggressive than expected Eastgate – admitting afterwards that he got the cards, and being his amicable self when congratulating Eastgate with a great game after he beat him.

This is the Sam Farha we all know, love and miss on this year’s High Stakes Poker. Playing great poker, being an all-round nice guy and a gracious winner.

Sammy has run so bad in this heads-up championship, but maybe this year is his time to shine! :)

“Buddy the game is on OK. Please don’t give me bad comments about the bad cards I play. That’s what she gave me — she didn’t give me aces.”
